WBS - Women's Bible Study

This Women's Bible Study (WBS) will meet for 7 weeks starting on Nov. 8th, (with a break for the week of Thanksgiving) to study the book, "Jesus and Women - Bible Study Book: In the First Century and Now" by Kristi McLelland.

The group meets from 7-8:30 pm (also offered Weds via Zoom) and on Friday from 9:30-11am, both days will be meeting in room 306. Click HERE for the book on Amazon.  This study will help you see Jesus and his relationship with women thru the lens of the Middle Eastern perspective.  This honor/shame culture viewpoint will be helpful to not only read the Bible but also to help understand current events.  If you know of, or are one of today's very busy women this is a study you will find helpful and easy. You can come and choose never to do any extra homework. there is so much to learn. However there is a book available on Amazon.  The homework if you choose to do isn't extensive.  Plus there is a code in the back that gives you access to all the lectures if you should happen to miss a class.

Following this study will be one named "Bad Girls of the Bible". The concluding book is by Nancy Guthrie, called "Better Than Eden".
